COMING SOON! SIGN UP HERE TO GET NOTIFIED OF NEW DATES

Join me for an immersive deep-dive into ‘Happy Doodling’ – my very own special version of doodling - a fun and playfully intuitive way of making colourful, joyful, mixed-media art. I think you'll love it!

The DEEP DIVE is designed for those who want more structured hands-on instruction, in-depth demos, and a smaller, more focused group setting. You’ll still get all the joyful, intuitive freedom that makes Happy Doodling so special — just with more structure, support, and personal attention.

Doodling is well-known for its positive effects on our mental health - an art practice i've tuned to many times when i've been stressed or stuck. This uplifting yet soulful workshop will help you reconnect with your creativity, calm your nervous system, reclaim your scattered attention, spark new ideas, learn new skills and generally give you a boost!

Absolutely no art experience needed — this is for everyone, and it’s much more about expression than perfection. You will, however, leave with some beautiful pieces of art that truly came from you.

What You'll Get/What To Expect:

Can't wait to hang out with you!

FAQ

Do I need any art skills/experience?

Nope! This workshop is all about play and is for EVERYONE! You will be messing about with all sorts of very simple mixed-media techniques - all of which will be demonstrated to you. And I will be on hand to help if you need some encouragement.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

No. All the materials will be provided. Just bring your curiosity. It's not a particularly messy workshop (small amount of painting but mostly pen and stamp work) but don't wear your best clothes if you're worried!

What's the food/drink situation?

You can bring whatever food/drink you like with you and most venues I can supply tea and coffee (just a kettle coffee i'm afraid)

Some venues have cafe facilities:

Hamilton House has the Canteen Bar and a cafe downstairs and you are more than welcome to bring up a proper coffee, beer, cocktail, whatever you fancy!

Is there any parking?

Parking will vary for each venue - your Ticket Email will contain more details.

  • HOURS - Colston Yard, has limited metered road parking near by and Trenchard Street NCP multi-story car park is 4 minutes away.
  • Hamilton House - Stokes Croft, has metered road parking in and around the area. You may also have to pay the CAZ charge depending on your car and where you are coming from.
Can I get a refund?

If you can no longer come to the workshop and would like a refund, please give me 7 days notice so that I can fill the spot. After the 7 days i'll be happy for you to transfer your ticket, either to a friend or to a new workshop date. Please get in touch with me as soon as possible on my contact page so we can work it out.

Is there an age restriction?

This workshop has been put together with adults in mind but i'm happy for older teenagers to come along with you too. Just let me know via my Contact Page

How accessible is the workshop space?

This varies from venue to venue and i'd advise you to contact the venue yourself if you have any specific questions or requirements. I can give a brief overview below:

HOURS - Street level, washroom has disability access

Hamilton House: On the second floor accessible by lift or stairs.
